As of April the letters „de“ have been added to Propastop’s language selection and the contents of the blog are now available in German. Original stories written for the German language readership will still take some time but the Estonian language postings will be available in German within a few days after their original postings. There will also be blog key words in the German translation as well.
The broadening of our language selection is due to an increase in European interest in anti-Estonian propaganda activities. The number of propaganda cases concerning Estonia has also increased in the German language media. For example, in autumn we revealed how the Russian propaganda channel, RT Deutsch put out a biased story on Estonia. In December, we also wrote about how the German language Sputnik lied about Estonia.
Propastop also allows for convenient access to Propamon robot monitoring, which detects news about Estonia in the Russian media. Soon we want to have Propamon to be able to observe what our eastern neighbour writes about Germany and Austria as well.
Do you have German speaking friends or acquaintances who are interested in learning how Estonia protects itself from Information attacks? Send them this new link: propastop.org/de – now they can read Propastop in their native language.
